The video-conference was attended by representatives of health, border, customs, specialized inspection, trade, transport and civil aviation organizations of the two countries as well as staff members from the Embassy of Mongolia to China, Consulate General of Mongolia in Huhhot, Consulate General of Mongolia in Shanghai, Consulate of Mongolia in Erenhot, the Embassy of China to Mongolia and Chinese Consulate General in Zamyn-Uud.

The cooperation mechanism aims at ensuring the sides to exchange information online on the Covid-19 response measures in the directions of prevention, diagnosis, isolation, treatment, and quarantine, as well as share experience.

During the meeting, the sides discussed tightening prevention and control and strengthening bilateral health institutes’ cooperation at this time of persistent threat of the pandemic.

Moreover, the sides talked over maintaining bilateral economic cooperation properly in the face of current restrictions and quarantine as well as the pressing issues in exchanges of citizens and freight transportation. The sides concurred to work together to find solutions and resolve the issues.
